Catherine Louise Sagal, better popularly known as Katey Sagal, is an American actress, singer-songwriter who became famous for her portrayal of her mother and wife Peg Bundy on the comedy show 'Married .... with Children'. It is clear from her many appearances that Katey is a gifted and versatile actress who can be found in dramatic and comedy roles. Her role as "Gemma Teller Morrow", the matriarch of a Hell's angels-like California biker group in Kurt Sutter's FX show, "Sons of Anarchy" was awarded an award called a Golden Globe. Other roles she has voiced include voicing the character 'Leela as seen in the TV series Futurama as well as several animated films. Singing and songwriting has been her first passion. She was a member of a group when she was younger and has several albums under her belt. She was also a part of the score to "Sons of anarchy".
