Selena was able to begin her musical journey when she was eight years old. Her father started the band. The band was composed of Selena as well as her siblings Abraham junior who played the base guitar and Sister Suzette who was a drummer as well as Selena was the singer of the band. Selena Y Los Dino, the group that she was in was nicknamed Selena Y Los Dino. The band also played in wedding fairs as well as at restaurants.
