Jill AND Mary

Jillian Noel Shennessy, born 25th November 1968, in Canada is a Canadian actress and musician who has been recognized for her significant contribution in American television. The show has been highly praised for her stellar performance on the American television series Law & Order in which she as Claire Kincaid as a prosecutor for three seasons, and Crossing Jordan, wherein she was Jordan Cavanaugh the main character for six years. Hennessy has also showcased her talents in films like RoboCop 3 Most Wanted, Chutney Popcorn, and The Acting Class. In addition, she produced and wrote these movies. Hennessy's acting career began in 1988, when she and her sister played twin characters in Dead Ringers. The actress briefly appeared in Buddy the Musical - The Buddy Holly Story on Broadway in 1990. Then, in 1993 Hennessy left the realm of musicals and into the genre of sci-fi as the character Dr. Marie Lazarus. The big break for her came later that year when she joined the ensemble of the cult NBC crime show Law & Order as assistant district attorney Claire Kincaid. As part of the show she was awe-inspiring to viewers for three years until 1996. Mary Louise Parker.......................Mary-Louise Parker (born August 2 1964, height 5' 7 1/2" (1,71 m)) is an American actress best known for her current lead role on Showtime's television series Weeds portraying Nancy Botwin for which she has received several nominations and the Golden Globe Award for Best Actress in 2006. Parker was in movies and television shows like RED Fried Green Tomatoes Boys on the Side The West Wing Angels in America where she won a Golden Globe and an Emmy Award for Best Supporting Actress. Parker is also the recipient in 2001 of the Tony Award for Best Actress in the Broadway show Proof.
