Winona-Ryder

Winona Ryder (born Winona Laura Hornowitz) was born in Winona Minnesota. The name of her parents was derived from the town she grew up in. Her father Michel Horowitz, and mother Cynthia Palmer are authors and editors. Ryder's parents also happen to be Jewish. Ryder believes herself to be Jewish. She has two younger half-siblings, Jubal and Sunyata. Ryder along with her whole family moved to Mendocino County in California, when Ryder was seven. They didn't have electricity. Ryder, who read a lot when she was 12 years old, became a reader since Ryder was not able to access television. Ryder began taking acting lessons at the American Conservatory Theatre in 1983, when she was twelve years old. Lucas The film from 1986, was her first major role. Ryder was only 15 at the time she was cast. Ryder was subject to bullying in highschool. Her performing career, she thought to help, could have helped her. However, it didn't take place. But she pushed on with her dream. In 1988, she received her biggest break with Tim Burton's Beetlejuice. Ryder continued to play numerous roles that were successful. He was nominated for two Academy Awards were nominated, one of which was for The Age of Innocence (1996).
